x6tence came out on top of GGCUP after beating Epsilon 2-1 in the grand final (2-16 on de_inferno, 16-7 on de_mirage and 16-8 on de_cache).
Held at the IFEMA conference centre, located on the outskirts of Madrid, and hosted by SocialNAT, GGCUP featured six of Spain's strongest teams, who duked it out for their share of the tournament's €4,400 prize purse.
With x6tence attending GGCUP with a stand-in following the surprise departure of Christian "loWel" Garcia Antoran in the run-up to the event, many believed that this was ex-Atlantis' title to lose, also considering that Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas's team had just received a huge boost in the shape of a deal of Epsilon.

To fill the void created by loWel's exit, x6tence approached former ASES member Arturo "sukitRon" Gil, who had not touched the game for six months prior to the tournament. Still, that did not prevent him from turning in an impressive display in the grand final of the tournament to help x6tence run out 2-1 and scoop the top prize of €2,000.
